Cloud Field (Föhn Bank) was a full room construction holding a field of real cloud. Made from harvested rainfall and using ultrasonic misting units, the room-temperature cloud was heavier than ambient air and sank to fill the room’s cavity. Highly sensitive to air movement, the body of cloud responded in the same manner as atmospheric cloud and could be easily manipulated and played with. The all-white environment rendered the physicality of the cloud visible only against the presence of another body in the space.
