Cloud Field (Föhn Bank) 2015 was build for the Grffith University Art Gallery and is a full room construction holding a field of real cloud. Created using pure water, the room-temperature cloud was heavier than ambient air and sank to fill the room’s cavity. Highly sensitive to air movement, the body of cloud responded in the same manner as atmospheric cloud and could be easily manipulated and played with. The all-white environment rendered the physicality of the cloud visible only against the presence other bodies in the space.
Cloud Field (Föhn Bank) 2015 was presented as part of the exhibition Elementa Phenomena, curated by Naomi Evans.
